HUNGRY FUTURE AND BUMPER HARVESTS

In India everyday about 3000 children die due to hunger and various diseases related to it.
According to UN report, near 2.1 million child die before the age of five every year in India i.e 4 die every minute, from the diseases which are perventable, which can be cured like diarrhoea, typhoid.
At one hand we are having bumper harvest of wheat and rice,we face problem regarding their storage and on the other hand
3000 young lives dying everyday because of hunger.

Bumper harvest yet of no use.Four in every 10 Indian children are malnourished, says UN report.
India ranks a lowly 66 out of 88 countries in the Global Hunger Index 2008. The report says India has more hungry people - more than 200 million - than any other country in the world.
One-third of the world's poor live in India, according to the latest poverty estimates from the World Bank. Based on its new threshold of poverty - $1.25 a day - the number of India's poor people has actually gone up from 421 million in 1981 to 456 million in 2005.

It seems that the government officials are happy with the tonns of grains and rice being rotten but they can't use it for their own people.
A recent news shows sacks of wheat and rice exported illegally to neighbouring countries by msome mafia. The big question is how thye got accces to government godowns.

Saddomajra, a village in the bread-basket state of Punjab, is one of the dumping grounds for the record stockpile of wheat that has accumulated after half a decade of bumper harvests in the world’s second-largest producer of the grain.

Here there are thousands of sacks of decomposing wheat, occupying an area the size of a football field and towering in some places to the height of a house. Tarpaulins cover most of the mounds, but many of the bags are torn, spilling blackened grain blighted by fungus and insects.

Around 48 percent of Indian Children are stunted, 20 percent wasted and 70 percent anemic - will have serious repercussions.
Surprisingly,India grows enough food to meet the needs of its 1.2 billion people. It is estimated that about seven percent of food grains are wasted due to lack of storage space and inefficient transportation.

Guwahati Molestation Case-Wasn't The First time and Not The Only One.

The Recent incidence of molesting a girl on busy streets of Guwahati create an outrage all over the country,it have got attention from all across the country due to an active support of the media and various NGO's but  you will be shocked to know that it wasn't the first time that a girl/women has been molested in public by mob. There were many previous cases where a girl/women is being harassed publicly by mob....and that even in broad daylight.

This video is from Bihar,Patna, where a women is harassed by mob in daylight.

Here is another case where a  17 year old girl is forced to parade naked in public in daylight...and shame on the media guy who instead of helping her record the whole video.

The case of Bangalore..the girl is molested by auto-driver on a busy road in bangalore.

This incidence happen on the New year eve(31st dec. 2011) in Gurgaon-mehroli raod. Some drunk bastards try to take the advantage of the crowd and molest her.Luckily, the police officials was present there who save the girl.

And there are many more cases like this, who can find them on net.

Point is.... a woman who give birth to a new life, who must be respected in our society ...lives her life in fear.Fear of being beaten by her husband or in laws, fear of being got harassed in public.
This is the status and respect for the females in our modern India.

HUNGER GAMES INDIA

First Of All Hunger Facts Of 'developing' India-

1/3rd of the worldĂ‚’s hungry live in India.

836 million Indians survive on less than Rs. 20 (less than half-a-dollar) a day.

Over 20 crore Indians will sleep hungry tonight.

10 million people die every year of chronic hunger and hunger-related diseases. Only eight percent are the victims of hunger caused by high-profile earthquakes, floods, droughts and wars.

India has 212 million undernourished people Ă‚– only marginally below the 215 million estimated for 1990Ă‚–92.

99% of the 1000 Adivasi households from 40 villages in the two states, who comprised the total sample, experienced chronic hunger (unable to get two square meals, or at least one square meal and one poor/partial meal, on even one day in the week prior to the survey). Almost as many (24.1 per cent) had lived in conditions of semi-starvation during the previous month.

Over 7000 Indians die of hunger every day.

Over 25 lakh Indians die of hunger every year.

Despite substantial improvement in health since independence and a growth rate of 8 percent in recent years, under-nutrition remains a silent emergency in India, with almost 50 percent of Indian children underweight and more than 70 percent of the women and children with serious nutritional deficiencies as anemia.

The 1998 Ă‚– 99 Indian survey shows 57 percent of the children aged 0 Ă‚– 3 years to be either severely or moderately stunted and/or underweight.

During 2006 Ă‚– 2007, malnutrition contributed to seven million Indian children dying, nearly two million before the age of one.

30% of newborn are of low birth weight, 56% of married women are anaemic and 79% of children age 6-35 months are anaemic.

The number of hungry people in India is always more than the number of people below official poverty line (while around 37% of rural households were below the poverty line in 1993-94, 80% of households suffered under nutrition).

Now,According to a government-supported survey held in January, about 42% of children under five are underweight almost double that of sub-saharan Africa-compared to 43% five years ago...
the static which means that about 3,000 children are dying daily due to illness related to poor diets!!
A UNICEF reports says that India contributes to 25% of the world's child death...dying future.

We are developing but it is really hard for me to figure in what sense we are developing..increasing rapes, murders, corruption, undernutrition etc etc.
Somewhere i read that we are the fastest developing economy increasing the annual per capita income from $96 to $489 between the year 1990 and 2005,becoming Asia'a third largest.

And there is one more repot i found the Hunger and Malnutrition Survey(abbreviated as HUNGaMA)here's the link for the report-http://www.naandi.org/CP/HungamaBKDec11LR.pdf
(If you find the report too lengthy for you..then simply look at the statistics.)
IT will describe you the actual development of 'incredible' India. The statistics of HUNGaMA raises a question on our development ...kisi ne sahi hi kaha hai,'Ameer aur ameer ho rahe hai aur  gareeb aur gareeb'.
There are people who can give thousand or lakhs of money as Dakshina or seva to some fake baba  but not even a 10 rupee note for a poor and hungry people.

The Incredible India which is known in the world,a land with various culture, traditions and heritages...is also the land with various scams, corrupt political leaders.
CULTURE AND TRADITION...
http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/Guwahati/Guwahati-molestation-4-held-NCW-to-probe-matter/Article1-887833.aspx is this what we mean with culture?

http://www.ndtv.com/article/cities/16-year-old-girl-in-rajasthan-alleges-she-was-gang-raped-in-car-for-20-days-237800 or is this what we mean by tradition?
All these things are shameful and shows the inhumanity developing in the developing India.

There are various schemes to help such people..but most of them are 'governmental'.And when there are so many 'hungry' people present in the system then how can those needy people can  benefits from such schemes.

Dayan Pratha:Exploitation Of Women And Humanity

And many more cases of witchcraft like these where innocent men and women were exploited physically,mentally,sexually...accusing them of practising witchcraft....

Mostly this happens with women, women who are poor, helpless, widowed or live alone.Violence against women in this case can escalate into serious actions that can lead to a woman’s death.
Women not only mercilessly between up by the people but also were forced to parade naked and to eat excreta.

http://twocircles.net/2009oct18/five_women_stripped_paraded_naked_jharkhand.html

http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2010-02-07/view-from-venus/28142135_1_pinki-ranchi-district-village-women

In Jharkhand, between 2001 and 2008 about 452 women were killed. In Assam more than 500 people have been killed  and 116 official cases has been registered from 2001 to 2oo8.

“Over the last fifteen years, an estimated 2,500 Indian women have been killed because they were ‘witches’.”
- Rebecca Vernon, Editor, Cornell University International Law Journal

It is not the story of Jharkhand or Assam such superstition exist in every part of India which are still backward and having a low literacy rate.
Backwardness and low literacy rate are the main reasons for the existence of such superstition. If an animal or a person dies then it becomes a trigger for condemning some poor or a widow woman as 'Dayan'.
Most of the times it becomes an excuse to set some previous scores,or to grab the property of a woman and if she denied then she was labelled as a witch...even if she denied for illegal relations, after her husbands death, with her male neighbors then she was labelled as a witch by those neighbors and condemn her to a non-ending series of humiliations and tortures.

Truth is such superstitions still exist in our Modern India...and the  reason for their existence is illiteracy.Until and unless the light of education doesn't reach each and every part  of the country such superstition will continue to prevail the country.

Fake Sadhu Mahatma And True Beliefs of People(Devotee)

India is a nation where different cultures, religion live together.People with different faiths, beliefs.
And to my knowledge, faith and trust are among the basic pillars of a relation...whether a relation between two love birds,husband-wife,brother-sister or...between a devotee and his God.

According to Hindu mythology,we Hindus have 33 crore Gods and Goddesses...( describing more clearly there are 33 crore ways to describing The One god.)
As this verse of Rigveda indicates-
"AIKEM SEDVIPRA BAHUDHA VADANTY".
its literal meaning is--
"TO ONE(God) SAGES DESCRIBE IN VARIOUS WAYS."

Now coming back, there are also various Gurus and Sadhu Babas whom teachings we follow and worship them like real Gods.
Now… what if that Baba whom we treat as God turns out to be a fraud, murderer or a rapist.
Sacrifice(Murders) done by such sadhus and babas on the name of God are common in newspapers and various crime shows such as Crime Patrol.

To best of my knowledge,I don’t think and don’t even believe that sacrificing someone’s life made our Gods happy since everyone has born from that almighty…we are his(her) children and a death of a child can never make his father or mother happy. All such things are nothing but ridiculous superstitions. There is a big difference between faith and superstition.
Next, there comes the babas who need money for their “kripa”.They openly infront of their devotee ask for money…ridiculous.

Truly speaking, faith and religion for such babas are nothing more than a source of filling their pockets with money. It’s all business for them.At one hand they preach and teach people about various ethics…”YEH SAB MOH MAYA HAI” and on other hand they indirectly ask for funds and donations of lakhs and crores.

In Mahabharata, Lord  Krishna don’t ask for anything in return for helping Arjun in war.

It is funny to see that at one hand you are not only giving money to them but also treating them like God and serve them like servants.
And filling their pockets with your money they buy all their luxury.

The reason for all this that Indians can be fooled easily on the name of God and religion.

People should understand this thing that God don’t need any donations and sacrifice.
If you want to give something then give your true prayers and have faith in him.If you want to sacrifice something then sacrifice your anger, hatred and all bad karmas.
If you want to actually learn something then learn from Vedas and Upanishads. They are the only source of true knowledge if you want some.
and there are many more available on internet  for  free.

In Bhagwad Gita Lord Krishna had said that happiness and sorrow are part of human life and everyone who has born have to go through this cycle.(People should understand this very simple logic)

Instead of donating  lakhs and crores to some fake babas ..donate that amount to poor people (or some organization who work for the welfare of such people); OR you can just use that money to your personal use…you can even pay your tax with that money which later is used for the welfare of our nation.
In simple words, don’t waste your money since you have earned it working daily at your workplace…sometimes even doing  overtimes.
“HELP A POOR AND HE WILL REMEMBER YOU IN REST OF HIS LIFE”

These fake sadhus and babas not only play with our faith and religious beliefs  but sometimes they don’t hesitate in committing some serious crimes.

Shamefull…and people realize this only when such babas are exposed…before that they all praise such babas  in single voice.
They are many more news related to rape and  molestations  of women done by such babas but due to their influence their crimes are never been proved.

If you want to search the God then search him Inside yourself…you will definitely find him.
